Meet our 2024 Santa Clara Parade of Champions Grand Marshals on October 5th and have Breakfast!

Every year we celebrate the history, our community heroes and the diversity of Santa Clara at the center of Silicon Valley. Here we know we can have it all—Big Events, Big Places, Big Tech and yet still a small-town vibe. What better way to start the day on October 5th but with a Big Hearty Breakfast of Champions at the Downtown American Legion 419 located at 958 Homestead Road. Tickets are $15 and funds raised go to our Veterans—the whole reason that started this Parade Tradition in 1945! Take Pictures with our Grand Marshals and share your favorite memories and stories of the Parade. Our Presenting sponsors this year are the SF 49ers, 2023 NFC Champions!

Who is this year’s 2024 Grand Marshals?…drum roll, please!

1) US National Olympic Team Co-Head Coach, Coach of the World-Renowned Aquamaids (now Santa Clara Artistic Swim) and multiple Hall of Famer—our beloved Coach Chris Carver

2) “Father of Modern Transit” Hon. Rod Diridon Sr. and SC Past Vice Mayor and Elected City Clerk and Co Grand Marshal —Rod Diridon Jr. Both father and son have deep roots in Santa Clara and a tireless love from community.

3) Our 48-year-old California Great America’s beloved beagle and friends are mixing and mingling: Snoopy, Lucy and Charlie Brown will be hugging all the little kids and the big kids!

4) Krazy George, inventor of the Wave, and the Most recognized professional Cheerleader in Silicon Valley will be dominating the parade streets!

Once you attend the Santa Clara Parade of Champions, you will want to do it every year. So mark your calendar, for the first Saturday in October. For one day, the city closes down the public streets and lets their public celebrate! The event is FREE to attend thanks to its community driven nonprofit SCPOC fearless fundraising. It takes a village. Learn more about how you can participate, volunteer, and donate to our charitable initiatives at www.scparadeofchampions.org
