The 2026 57th Santa Clara Parade of Champions will be held Saturday, October 3rd, Event starts at 8am Meet the Grand Marshals and Sports Legends at the Breakfast of Champions, 10am the National Anthem and Opening Ceremonies, 10am to 5pm Sports Fan Zone, Street FOOD Market and LIVE Music, Games, DJ Entertainment, 11am Parade, and 10am-2pm Community Village Booths and Food Trucks. Enjoy Shops and Dining in Downtown--something for everyone.

The Parade Route area will be closed to traffic from 10am to 1:30pm, but Monroe Street and Jackson Street between Benton and Homestead will remain closed until 5pm for Sports Fan Entertainment ZONE with DJ Macala and Street Food Vendors and festivities.
Should you park inside the parade route you will not be able to leave until the Parade is over. If you want in and out privileges, it is recommended to park outside of the Parade Route area and walk to the Festivities. Scroll down to where to Park in FAQs

Sponsor, VIP guests, and ADA Parking will be located at parking lot of 1285 Homestead Rd.
Other attendee parking: Street Parking and SCU Parking at 1063 Alviso St. Also overflow parking at 1095 Homestead Road at Superior Court Parking lot.
Are you in the Parade? Parade Participant Parking will be available on the street, Buchser Middle School lots and for busses and destaging that will be in the Peddlers Market Parking at 1000 Lafayette St at Benton entrance.
Emergency: For non-emergency situations (i.e., Vehicle blocking a driveway, parking in front of a fire hydrant, etc.,) call 408-615-5580. In an emergency: dial 9-1-1.
Towed Vehicle Recovery: If your vehicle has been towed in Santa Clara, details about retrieving your vehicle are available at www.scpd.org or by calling 408-615-4700.

Free Seating is not provided, but you can bring your own lawn chairs to sit next to main event stage at Franklin Mall along the route—hear all the action and see the special performances for the Contest Judges. Seats in the VIP Grand Stands at Main Stage cost $20. Breakfast of Champions at 8am, Opening ceremonies at 10am with all day festivities with DJ Macala until 5pm. Great Shady Spot in the Sports FAN Zone to enjoy your Day on Jackson Street.

Parade Day Program includes:
10am to 5pm: Sports FAN Zone Booths (Bay Area Pro Teams), Street Food Vendors. Games, Bouncy House, DJ and Live Music. Many Stage Performances.
10am to 2pm: Community Village Booths and Food Trucks on Franklin Street with Artisans, Small businesses, Kids zone, Nonprofits and more. Check out vendors here COMMUNITY VILLAGE.
10am Opening Ceremonies with Emcee Taylor and DJ Macala introducing our Honored guests. We recommend you get there early to park and find the best seats. Last year we had over 10K at the Parade.

Festival Street Zones that are Pedestrian only: Benton, Jackson and Franklin Streets. Parade Route, Main Stage, VIP Grandstands are located on Monroe.

The Community Village is a community based event that showcases many of the small businesses, artisans and nonprofits that make our community so great.
There will be a Kid’s zone, local artisans, nonprofits, and much more. Food Trucks will be Cousins Main Lobster, Kalbi Korean BBQ, Kona Ice, The Ice Cream Truck, LUV's Brownies, Lili Mae's BBQ, Chicken Waffles, Pueblo Mexican.

FREE Public Parking is readily available outside the Parade Route zone. You may find more in our PARKING INFORMATION.
Additional FREE Parking for Parade Day will be at the Santa Clara University Garage at 1065 Alviso Parking Garage and the City parking at Franklin Mall on Benton and Homestead lots.
Parking for the Breakfast of Champions "Meet the Grand Marshals" located at 958 Homestead Rd at the American Legion will be at 900 Lafayette Commerce.

Max capacity in our parade is 95 units or about 2K in the parade.
Each year as is our Tradition We hire NorCal Band Association Judges to professionally score in Categories of Marching and Community Band, Drill, Dance and Community made Floats. SCPOC awards 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize Money to the winners.

Per the City of Santa Clara, the SCPOC sends an annual bulk mailer called the Good Neighbor Letter that list times of road closures and Program events, FAQs. Our volunteers walk the Route and leave a Good Neighbor Letter copy 800 feet from the route at the doors of Businesses and homes impacted.
