  • All Day Festivities 8am to 5pm! We love social media, hash tag us #scparadeofchampions!

  • Come Meet the Grand Marshals before the Parade @ 8am to 10am at the Breakfast of Champions!

    • SCPOC “Breakfast of Champions” is a Fundraiser for our Veterans, with the American Legion 419. Venue is located at 958 Homestead Road near Downtown. Parking nearby. Hearty Pancake breakfast w/sausage and all the sides for a $15 Donation. The SCPOC is a nonprofit 501c3.

  • 9am Community Village Opens to the Public: There are 50 10x10 Vendor Booths from Food trucks, Artisans, NPOs, Kidzone Facepainting, SC Library Bookmobile, and Beer and Wine Vendor Booth. Sign up online early for the village—it sells out each year. Located in front of Main Stage and bleachers at 940 Monroe Street at Franklin Street.

  • 10am Parade Opening Ceremonies: Our Emcee is Comedian Taylor Amarante. Pledge of Allegiance by Scout Troop 394 followed by National Anthem. Opening Remarks by our SCPOC President, Mayor, County Supervisor and our Presenting Sponsor SF 49ers.

  • 11am SC Parade of Champions starts. NEW Professionally Judged Community Contest with Prize money for Marching and Community Bands, Drill and Dance Teams and Community Built Floats.

    • Marching Bands also get Points for their Competition Season like any Band Competition. Other categories get bragging rights, Certificate of Recognition and social media love.

  • 1:30pm to 5pm LIVE Street Dance and Food Trucks!

  • Green Area: Pre-Parade Staging Area

  • Blue Area: Parade Route

  • Red Area: Parade Destaging Area

  • Yellow Highlight: Community Village, Main Stage and Bleachers

  • 8am to 10am

    Breakfast of Champions

    An annual special treat before the Parade where you can meet our Grand Marshals! Enjoy a hardy breakfast at the American Legion 419 located at 958 Homestead Road in downtown Santa Clara. For $15, includes homemade pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, orange juice, coffee or tea. Funds raised go to our veterans!

  • Village opens at 9am

    Community Village Booths

    Meet your community, eat and socialize—its family friendly! We will have Food trucks, a variety of artisans, businesses, Bookmobile, nonprofits, Kidzone… and more! It is where community connects with local community services and programs! To vend book your space online.

  • Ceremony at 10am

    Opening Ceremonies w/ Emcee Taylor Amarante

    Opening Ceremonies, Flag Raising, Singing of the National Anthem. Hear from our SCPOC and City and County leaders as they honor our Champions, community, and frontline heroes. Thank you to the 2024 Presenting Sponsor our local NFL team and NFC Champs!

  • Parade Begins at 11am

    NEW Professionally judged Contest w!th Prize Money!

    An old tradition returns! SCPOC will offer Prize money to the winning Competition Marching bands, Community bands, Drill and Dance Teams and Community Floats. The Marching bands you will also earn the coveted points just like any band Competition to help you move through the competition ranks!

  • Street Dance from 1:30pm - 5pm

    “Street Dance and Food Trucks”

    Thank you to our 2024 LIVE performances by Pop Rocks Band—playing all the danceable and sing-along favorites. Featuring DJ Macala, our Street Dance will have something for everyone to enjoy! Stay tuned for 2025 updates!

Parade Route and Event Areas Details - Public Notification

  • Road Closure Information

    • 6 am - 6pm: Limited Resident only Ingress/Egress (see map)

    • 8 am - 1 pm: Farmer’s Market on Jackson Street

    • 9 am to 3 pm: Community Village, Vendors, Activities, and Food Trucks

    • 10 am - 6 pm: Monroe Street closed for Opening Ceremony and Festivities

    • 11 am - 1 pm: Parade

    • 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Salsa in the Streets

    • 6 pm: All Roadways reopened

  • Parking and other Details

    • ADA Parking will be located at parking lot of 1285 Homestead Rd.

    • Other attendee parking: Street Parking and SCU Parking at 1063 Alviso St.

    • Parade Participant Parking will be available on the street, Buchser Middle School lots and for busses and destaging that will be in the Peddlers Market Parking at 1000 Lafayette St at Benton entrance.

    • Emergency: For non-emergency situations (i.e., Vehicle blocking a driveway, parking in front of a fire hydrant, etc.,) call 408-615-5580. In an emergency: dial 9-1-1

    • Towed Vehicle Recovery: If your vehicle has been towed in Santa Clara, details about retrieving your vehicle are available at www.scpd.org or by calling 408-615-4700.
