The 2024 Santa Clara Parade of Champions will be held Saturday, October 5th, Event stars at 9am, Opening Ceremonies start at 10am, Parade at 11am, followed by Street Dance with Pop Rocks and DJ Macala from 1:30pm to 5pm. Enjoy 8 popular Food Trucks, a Kid Zone and diverse, fun Community Village Booths--something for everyone.

The Parade Route area will be closed to traffic from 10am to 1:30pm, but Monroe Street between Benton and Homestead will remain closed until 5pm for the Street Dance with live Band Pop Rock and DJ Macala and Food Truck festivities.

Should you park inside the parade route you will not be able to leave until the Parade is over. If you want in and out privileges, it is recommended to park outside of the Parade Route area and walk to the Festivities. Scroll down to where to Park in FAQs

Sponsor, VIP guests, and ADA Parking will be located at parking lot of 1285 Homestead Rd.

Other attendee parking: Street Parking and SCU Parking at 1063 Alviso St. Also overflow parking at 1095 Homestead Road at Superior Court Parking lot.

Are you in the Parade? Parade Participant Parking will be available on the street, Buchser Middle School lots and for busses and destaging that will be in the Peddlers Market Parking at 1000 Lafayette St at Benton entrance.

Emergency: For non-emergency situations (i.e., Vehicle blocking a driveway, parking in front of a fire hydrant, etc.,) call 408-615-5580. In an emergency: dial 9-1-1.

Towed Vehicle Recovery: If your vehicle has been towed in Santa Clara, details about retrieving your vehicle are available at www.scpd.org or by calling 408-615-4700.

Free Seating is not provided, but you can bring your own chairs to sit along the route for Opening ceremonies at 10pm and stay for the Street Dance at 1:30 with the band POP ROCKS and DJ Macala until 5pm.

Buy your Bleacher seating located on Monroe Street next to Main Event Stage. Cost per seat is $25 each or $20 each if you buy more than one. Great Shady Spot to enjoy your Day and be seen.

1:30pm to 5pm: POP ROCKS and DJ Macala! Enjoy live music from your lawn chairs or bleachers--we are keeping the streets closed for the Festival until 5pm.

All day enjoy 8 different Food Trucks, Cafe's Pizza, Sit down Dining, Craft Beer, and more.

Visit our Downtown Local stores, dining, and businesses in the Franklin Square from Lafayette to Lincoln Street will be open for you.

The Community Village is a community based event that showcases many of the small businesses, artisans and nonprofits that make our community so great.

There will be a Kid’s zone, local artisans, nonprofits, and much more. Food Trucks will be Cousins Main Lobster, Kalbi Korean BBQ, Kona Ice, The Ice Cream Truck, LUV's Brownies, Lili Mae's BBQ, Chicken Waffles, Pueblo Mexican.

Public Parking is readily available as is street parking outside the Parade Route zone. You may find more in our PARKING INFORMATION.

Additional Parking for Parade Day will be at the SCU 1065 Alviso Parking Garage and the City parking at the Superior Court on 1095 Homestead Rd.

Parking for the Breakfast of Champions "Meet the Grand Marshals" at 958 Homestead Ro at the American Legion is across the street at Peddlars Plaza or at the Superior Court Parking.

Max capacity in our parade is 95 units or about 2K in the parade.

This year a TRADITION RETURNS! SCPOC professionally judged contest will have Prize Money for Marching and Community Bands, Dance and Drill teams and Community Built Floats. Many of these categories are youth, seniors, and nonprofits. Happy to help with a bit of Gas money as our founder Larry Marsalli used to say.

All other categories from classic cars to marches will be recognized with a certificate.

If you are Corporate Employee Volunteer program, we want to hear from you. Students do you need community service hours? We have those year-round for projects in addition to the Parade Day.

Per the City of Santa Clara, the SCPOC sends an annual bulk mailer of the Good Neighbor Letter and our volunteers leave a Good Neighbor Letter 800 feet from the route at the doors of Businesses and homes.
